Kitchen hood protection

this technology is the solution for detection and extinguishment in kitchen hoods by means of an aqueous agent. The risk of fire in industrial restaurant kitchens or other activities is well-known, since there is direct contact with the fire which they produce. If the compartmentalization or protection is inadequate, this type of fire can grow as the fire spreads to adjoining areas.

To prevent this possible damage, we provides a system specifically designed for this type of protection, completely covering all possible fire points: extractors, ducts, filters and different cooking appliances (fryers, grills, stoves, etc.). The system consists of three main parts: elements for mechanical detection, discharge nozzles, and extinguishing agent. The extinguishing agent is composed of low-pH potassium acetate that covers the heated or flammable surfaces with a soapy gel that cools down the greases. The equipment as a whole complies with NFPA-17 and is approved by UL, ULC, and LPCB.
